-- Iran becomes self-sufficient in CK45 steel production
Saba Steel Complex, a subsidiary of Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC) inaugurated a production line of CK45 steel that will make Iran needless of importing the product.
CK45 steel is classified as medium carbon steel, which is one of the most widely used non-alloy carbon steels. It has good tensile properties and machinability. So, the product is widely used in the field of machinery manufacturing.
In the past two years, one of the main strategies of MSC has been the production of new products with greater added value, said Mohammad-Yaser Tayyebnia, the CEO of the company.

Iran’s animated film, ‘Smart Kid,’ created a significant impression in the world of cinema, earning over $320,000 in just under a month since its release in Iranian cinemas.
The film’s producer, Hamed Ja’fari, proudly underlines that this achievement marks a historic milestone. “For the first time, an animated film has drawn more than 430,000 viewers to theaters and appealed to both families and children with its narrative in such a short period,” he said.

-- Iran Honors Prominent Historian Abulfazl Beyhaqi
An international conference was held in Sabzevar, formerly known as Beyhaq in northeast Iran, on Monday to honor renowned Iranian historian, Abulfazl Beyhaqi. The two-day conference saw participation from writers, scholars, and researchers from various countries including Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Armenia, Iraq, and the Iraqi Kurdistan both online and in person.
The event was organized in collaboration with Hakim Sabzevar University, according to conference secretary Mahyar Alavi.
-- Tehran Province Exports Over 26,000 Tons of Greenhouse Products to Russia
The head of the agricultural organization of Tehran Province Jebreil Baradari has said that the province exported more than 26,000 tons of summer crops and greenhouse agricultural-horticultural products to the Russian Federation in a year.
In his visit to Russia to participate in “Made in Russia” Exhibition held in Moscow, Baradari pointed to Iran’s export potential and capabilities in the agricultural sector and said 26,000 tons of different types of peppers, eggplants, lettuces, celeries and tomatoes produced in Tehran have been exported to Russia since March 21, 2022.

Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash Bazrpash arrived at Armenia’s Zvartnots International Airport on Monday to conclude contracts for the construction operation of the Agarak-Kajaran Road as part of the Tranche 4 of Armenia’s North-South Road Corridor.
Iran’s Deputy Roads Minister and CEO of the Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company Kheirollah Khademi, and Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mahdi Safari accompanied the roads minister in the daylong visit.

-- Eslam Jahedi claim gold in para canoe: 2022 Asian Para Games
Eslam Jahedi of Iran won a gold medal in the Men's VL2 Final of the 2022 Asian Para Games on Tuesday. He crossed the line first with a time of 55.749 seconds.
Thailand’s Santi Wantawee won the silver with 1:00.020 and the bronze medal went to Indian Gajendra Singh with 1:01.084 seconds. Earlier in the day, Shahla Behrouzirad had won a silver in the Women's KL3 Final and Roya Soltani had snatched a bronze in the Women's KL2 Final.
-- Iranian transport minister visits Armenia to pursue expansion of ties
Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash traveled to Armenia on Monday to meet the country’s senior officials and discuss ways of expanding trade and transit ties between the two countries, IRNA reported.
Speaking to the press prior to the visit, Bazrpash emphasized Iran's readiness to export technical-engineering services to Armenia, announcing the plan of the two countries to strengthen the level of trade and transit, and remove cumbersome regulations in the way of trade development.

On Sep. 20, a host of cultural heritage and travel researchers from Iran, the UK, Malaysia, China, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, and Tajikistan addressed a range of issues impacting sustainable tourism and the challenges faced to heritage sites today.
Hosted by the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand, the conference was initially dedicated to the development of the tourism industry within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s member states.
